SMS Karlsruhe 3D Shipwreck

Explore the SMS Karlsruhe shipwreck in 3D. Simply drag with your mouse to move around the wreck.

SMS Karlsruhe is often dismissed as the poor relative of her sister ships in deeper water. The fact that she is shallower and more broken can make her feel less significant somehow, slightly too easy, too accessible.

But, as a dive, the more she is explored, the more this sentiment is dispelled. The mechanics are easier to decipher, there is less pressure on time and exposure, she somehow feels more welcoming, less spiky.

With care and thought, this is a dive that ranks amongst the best, on a ship that is as advanced as they come. Maybe sometimes these things just take time to sink in.
